Frequently Asked Questions
Essential details regarding client-side processing, file targets, and conversion standards.
How does the batch conversion process work?
Our tool processes every uploaded image sequentially in memory. Each picture is calibrated to your chosen page size, compressed to meet your target file size in kilobytes, and generated as an independent PDF document. Finally, all individual PDFs are bundled into a single ZIP archive for instant downloading without server latency.
Is my image data kept safe and private?
Yes, your privacy is completely protected. All image rendering, canvas compression, and PDF compilation take place directly inside your web browser. None of your photos, documents, or personal data are ever uploaded, transmitted, or stored on external servers or remote databases, ensuring complete security.
How accurate is the target PDF quality in kilobytes?
The compression algorithm iteratively adjusts JPEG quality and resolution scaling through an in-memory HTML5 canvas pass. It calculates binary stream lengths to match your selected target size as closely as possible, maintaining balanced image clarity while preventing excessive PDF file sizes.
Which image formats and page sizes are supported?
You can upload JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WEBP image files. The converter supports all standard paper standards including A0 through A10, B0 through B5, Letter, Legal, Tabloid, Ledger, Executive, C4, DL envelopes, along with fully customizable width and height millimeter parameters.
Can I download individual PDFs without creating a ZIP file?
Yes. Each preview card features an individual download button in the lower-right corner. Clicking this button immediately converts and exports that specific image into a standalone PDF formatted with your selected page dimensions and compression settings, bypassing the batch archive process.
